Two members of Israel’s security forces were severely injured when two Palestinian terrorists opened fire at them in Jerusalem’s Sheikh Said neighborhood, near Armon Hanatziv.

Both gunmen were shot dead in the ensuing exchanges of fire with security officers at the scene. A Palestinian bystander was critically injured.

Magen David Adom emergency services reported that one of the Israelis was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital with injuries to his back and chest.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, Fatah's military wing, claimed responsibility for the attack.
